What EveryAction provides
- Constituent database (overlaps significantly with what NPSP covers, but with stronger advocacy/political tooling built in).
- Email marketing with segmentation and A/B testing.
- Online action tools: petitions, letter-to-rep, event RSVP, recurring giving forms.
- Survey and form builders with logic, conditional content, and CRM write-back.
- Reporting and analytics with attribution back to campaigns and source codes.
How it integrates with WordPress
- Embedded forms: EveryAction forms can be embedded directly in WordPress pages as iframes or rendered server-side via API.
- API integrations: writing form submissions, donations, and event registrations from WordPress into EveryAction’s database.
- Single sign-on for member portals.
- Subscription / preference center management synced between WordPress accounts and EveryAction profiles.
Trade-offs to weigh against Salesforce NPSP
EveryAction is stronger for advocacy-heavy programs, recurring grassroots fundraising, and political-style segmentation. Salesforce NPSP is stronger for complex donor relationships, multi-program reporting, and integration with the broader Salesforce ecosystem. Many large advocacy nonprofits run both — EveryAction for the action funnel, Salesforce for the relationship of record. Choosing between them is a Discovery question.
